A Special Delivery for the New School Year!

Just in time for the new school year, an Eagle Scout from Troop 300 in Howell, NJ, arrived at Collier with a special delivery: 120 backpacks filled with supplies for our students.

The donation was a part of his Eagle Scout service project. He gathered notebooks, folders, pencils, reusable water bottles, and personal care items and carefully filled each backpack for the students to enjoy. In addition to the backpacks, he also donated two benches for both students and staff to enjoy.

The backpacks were enough to support the youth at Collier High School, Collier Middle School, and Collier Group Home. What started off as a service project will now help students across Collier Youth Services start the year with supplies of their own.

We are grateful that he chose Collier for his project and for the care put into supporting our young people. Thank you to this amazing Eagle Scout and Troop 300 for making this new school year a little brighter!
