Photosynthesis in Action at CMS!

Collier Middle School students brought science to life with a fun photosynthesis experiment using spinach leaves. At first, the leaves sink, but once the light hits them, they start to float.

Why? The spinach makes oxygen, and little bubbles lift the leaves up. A cool way to see how plants help give us the air we breathe!
