Extended School Year

Collier hosts two extended school year (ESY) programs for special education students specifically designed to: engage youngsters with special needs, continue their education, build social skills, and keep them active during the summer.

JET (Job Experience & Training):  this six-week life and job skills program is designed to help at-risk students, ages 13 to 21, become more employable and develop into fully contributing members of the community.

Project Eco:  an ecologically focused, six-week extended school year and recreation program for special education students, ages 9-21, who are challenged by varying degrees of autism or other conditions that affect their ability to learn in traditional ways or form social bonds.
