Program Overview
Collier House, located in Keyport, New Jersey, is a program for five young women, ages 18-21, who are homeless or transitioning from the foster care system. The program helps young women develop the skills they need to live healthy, self-sufficient and productive lives.
A Comprehensive Program
Residents will be required to:
- Work full-time or enroll in educational or vocational classes while working part-time
- Save a portion of their earnings
- Participate in community activities
Residents will benefit from:
- Safe, stable accommodations
- Life skills training
- Job training
- Computer training
- Mental health and/or substance abuse counseling
- Annual medical and dental care
- Assistance in transitioning to independent living
